Course schedule
The published protocol was once daily for 7 consecutive days; the clinic currently schedules 7–10 days, each session including a herbal retention enema and perineal massage. The exact number of sessions, their duration and whether you are a candidate are decided by the doctor after an in-person visit. Responses vary widely and this site makes no promise about how quickly effects appear.
Care pathway
① Send a brief summary of your symptoms, history and prior treatments by WeChat or email → ② The team gives an initial view on whether a visit is worthwhile (not a diagnosis) → ③ Book an in-person visit for examination and differential diagnosis → ④ The doctor explains the procedure, risks and contraindications; treatment starts after written informed consent → ⑤ Follow-up is arranged after the course.
What to prepare
Main symptoms and duration; prior test reports (urinalysis and cultures, prostatic fluid, ultrasound, PSA); medication history (especially which antibiotics and alpha-blockers, and for how long); surgical and chronic disease history. The more complete the records, the easier it is to judge suitability and which tests still need to be done.
For international patients
This site does not provide online diagnosis or remote prescriptions. Before travelling to Shanghai, complete basic differential diagnosis locally and rule out emergencies. Travel, visas and accommodation are arranged by the patient; the team can confirm the clinic address and appointment time.
